Oh Baby!

Okay, so we have waited long enough and I can't take it anymore...WE ARE PREGNANT!!! Well, I am pregnant and Luke is very supportive and excited! =) I am 14 weeks along and the baby is due June 12th. We moved into our new house in July and we just couldn't stand the empty rooms...so here we go!! We are so happy and wanted to share our news with our wonderful friends and family! I have been very blessed not to have been very sick so far, just tired...so I am thanking my lucky stars that it continues to go this well. We should be able to find out what we are having the middle of January, so keep checking in for the revealing of Baby Bell.

Playing in the Snow

So Luke and I thought it would be fun to take our son, Maverick, to the KU Campus and let him run up and down the hills and play in the snow! Maverick had a blast and he didn't even need a snow suit!!

Santa Paws

Merry Christmas to our Friends and Family! Today we visited Santa at the Humane Society and got a family picture. I just had to share it with everyone!!

MU vs. KU

So I proudly wore my Black and Gold for the big MU/KU Game and it proved to be lucky! I was definitely the odd woman out in the sea of KU fans I was sitting with, including my husband...but what a game! We have had a blast this fall with football season tickets for KU, but this was the one game I could cheer for the Tigers. What an awesome season for MU and KU, it's been a fun ride!

Just call me Betty Crocker

Okay, so I know it's ridiculous to brag about baking...but this is a very rare occasion for me, so I had to share! My friend Kenna and I had a baking party for Thanksgiving and I managed to pull of two home made apple pies...and they were delicious, if I say so myself. =)

Vegas!

At the Kansas Association of Realtors Dinner

In Downtown Las Vegas

Luke had a national conference in Vegas, so of course when I found out that he had a free room at the Venetician...I booked my flight and off we went! The rooms were amazing! Each room was a suite with a huge sitting room. It was bigger than our first house!=) It makes you realize that the immaculent hotels don't get built because people are winning at gambling...=) However, it doesn't keep you from believing you will be the lucky one!! I didn't win but I did manage to play on my allotted allowance for 3 days and I consider that winning! The highlight of the trip was attending Phantom of the Opera, my favorite musical. It played in a beautiful theater inside the Venetician...you have to see it next time you are in Vegas!

Hanging out with Eli

Well today I had a date with a 2 year old and boy was it fun! My friend Mickey and her husband went to the Chiefs game so my friend Kenna and I spent they day with our favorite little boy, Eli. We watched movies, went to Walmart, played in the park, and believe it or not this little boy will even eat Chinese food! What a trooper!

Happy 2nd Birthday Logan!

Birthday Boy Logan

Owen hanging out

Doesn't Owen look a lot like Uncle Luke?

It doesn't seem possible but our nephew Logan turned 2 last week! We had a great time celebrating his "Cars" Birthday party with all of the nephews! It was so much fun having baby Owen with us this this time too...he is such a perfect baby, just hanging out and watching all the other boys be crazy!

Hermann Trip

What a better way to celebrate October birthdays but with Oktober Fest in Hermann! This weekend the family took a road trip down to Missouri's wine country and had a wonderful time. With tons of food and wine...it was the perfect way to celebrate!

Go Chiefs!

My friend Lauren has season tickets to the Chiefs games, so when she called inviting me to attend...I couldn't pass it up!! Go Chiefs!!!

American Royal Barbecue

Teri and Josh Ediger, hosts of the party

Shauna, fellow Mizzou grad and Eli Lilly rep

I have lived in Kansas City my whole life but have never ventured down to the American Royal Barbecue Contest. This year we finally did it and it was so much fun. My co-worker, Josh Ediger, and his buddies from college had a private party called "3 Drunk Monkeys" where they served tons of fun and drinks. It was a great time!

Swearing in Ceremony

Luke Bell, Attorney at Law

We are framing this baby!

Richard (law school buddy) and Luke

Luke was sworn in before the Kansas Supreme Court on Friday! After all his hard work, he finally has that very special piece of paper making it all "official". You better believe we are framing this one! I am very proud of you honey!!

Sister night in Springfield

Sisters enjoying some Riesling. Delicious!

Once you go Riesling, you never go back!

Yummy!

There use to be a time when both Fenstermaker girls lived in Springfield, so girl's nights were not that hard to come by. But then life happened...and the Bell/Day girls no longer live a few minutes away. So, you can imagine my excitement when my quarterly work meetings were planned for Branson. Sister night in Springfield! We went to this adorable cafe called Millie's where we splurged on Fondue and wine, and then finished up the night with a movie (Sydney White) that we knew we had to see together because there was no way our husbands would let us drag them to it! I love my sister!

This is what Saturdays are for...

Tailgating, Tailgating, and more Tailgating! Well, the Jayhawks are 4-0 and it has been a blast cheering them on this year. 4 home games down and 4 more to go! Here is to good food, friends, and more victories!

Pooch Plunge!

Summer is coming to an end! To make it official, the Lawrence pool invites all four legged friends to come swim on the very last day before they close the pool. It was pure pandemonium but a ton of fun!! Maverick had a blast swimming all over the place, chasing tennis balls, and picking on all the little dogs. His girlfriend, Bella, got to go too...so Maverick was in heaven...with water and his woman...it doesn't get any better than that!

Luke passes the Bar Exam!

I just had to take a minute to brag on my amazing husband! Luke landed a great job working as the Lobbyist for the Kansas Association of Realtors right after law school last May, and had to put off taking the bar exam to conquer his first legislative session. Well, he finally took the bar exam (the most difficult test....EVER!) this past July...and found out today that he passed on the first try!! Woohoo! After months of studying all night long, it paid off! I am so proud of him! Love you baby=)

Jayhawk Football!

We are very excited to have football season tickets this year. One crazy Saturday home game down, and seven more to go!! We had a great time hanging out with friends, grilling out, drinking adult beverages, and cheering on the Jayhawks to a victory! (or should I say a butt whooping against Central Michigan, they won 52-7!) Side note: Yes, I am a proud graduate of Mizzou and I still love my Tigers; however, I have an arrangement with my husband to wear red or blue and cheer on the Jayhawks at every home game unless they are playing the Tigers! (it was part of the wedding vows=) ) Oh, the things you will do for love!

Another Boy in the Bell Family...

Woohoo for nephews! Meet my newest nephew Owen David Allman. He is Luke's older sister Ginger's new baby boy. Not only did I marry into an amazing family . . . I am now the proud aunt of four nephews: Travis, Peyton, Logan and Owen. If we ever get a baby girl in this family, I don't know what we will do!
