Taylor meeting Halli

Halli Kate

Taylor and I finally got to meet my friend Kristen's baby girl, Halli, on Saturday! She is absolutely beautiful and so light! (compared to my 18 lb chunk!) We wished we lived closer so we could see each other more often, but we will make it a priority to at least get together once a month so these gals can get to know each other=) Welcome to the world baby Halli!

Pumpkin Patch

Taylor just loved this=)

Nealy, Emmitt, Taylor, and me

This is what having kiddos is all about...enjoying simple things like trips to the pumpkin patch! I know Taylor won't remember this trip but Luke and I had a lot of fun with our friends and their kids. We all met up at the pumpkin patch in Gardner, Taylor will definitely have a lot of fun in a couple of years because they have everything from a petting zoo to a zip line. Halloween is the kick off to the holiday season and I just can't hardly wait to experience all these new things with our little one. So much fun!

She'd about had enough=)
One more time!=)

The men and their kiddos.

Our little pumpkin.

Tay and Hayes!

Tay's hair can fit into a quasi pony tail=)

Hayes massaging Taylor's foot!

Holding hands...sweet babies. (Oct)

Changing before our eyes... (August)

Think these two have changed a bit? (June)

We are going to have to say goodbye to our wonderful neighbors, Alison, Kyle, and Hayes, in one more week and we are very sad. They had us over for dinner the other night and it was so much fun to watch these two. They are growing up right before our eyes...thank goodness for blogs so we can continue to watch these two grow up. And now we have a great excuse to visit Connecticut!

Rice cereal...oh boy!

The doctor gave us the go ahead to start introducing solids to Taylor. So, we started it off the other night with rice cereal. This isn't the most flattering picture of our darling baby girl but we had to include the important milestone. She doesn't quite have it down yet, but we are working on it!

My water baby!

We took Taylor to the indoor pool today and she had a great time! The Lawrence Aquatic Center is right by our house and it is perfect for kids. I have a feeling we will be spending a ton of time here in the coming years! Taylor was such a big girl at the pool today...she is growing up right before our eyes and motherhood just gets better every single day!

Baby Einstein

Family time on the couch! Even Maverick posed for the pic! I just love Taylor's strawberry pjs!

Taylor loves her Bumbo chair and, as you can see, she is starting to put everything in her mouth. Today, we set it up on the coffee table so she could have a front row seat to her Baby Einstein video...she sat there and watched intently for almost 30 minutes, that's like 8 hours in baby time=)

Medicine and an Exer-Saucer...

Poor Baby Taylor has had a cough for a couple of weeks, so her doctor finally gave her antibiotic to see if that would get rid of it. She didn't quite know what to think of the sticky cherry substance but after 4 hands and many attempts, we finally got it down her. (and her coughing has gotten better) Woohoo!

So now that she has hit the 4 month mark...we offically have all the toys set up! The only thing left is the highchair, and I am sure that is only a few weeks away! Taylor really likes her exer-saucer. She has been playing in it a lot at daycare so we finally got it set up at home...and she is too cute in it! She can already turn herself all the way around (there are kids at daycare that can't even do that yet) "She is so advanced, " Luke says.=) Of course I agree!

4 months!

So, here is the monthly giraffe pic comparision! Notice the bumper is no longer in the crib- she has been scooting around like crazy during the night and waking up with her face too close for comfort to the bumper. So, I took it out!!! One of these days I am determined to get a smile during this picture!

Like father like daughter...

Taylor had her first hotel experience last weekend when we went to my cousin Justin's wedding! You can imagine my surprise when I came out of the bathroom after getting ready...to find my husband and daughter in matching poses while watching TV. Everyone is saying she looks a lot like daddy, but this is just getting ridiculous=)
