Rice cereal...oh boy!

The doctor gave us the go ahead to start introducing solids to Taylor. So, we started it off the other night with rice cereal. This isn't the most flattering picture of our darling baby girl but we had to include the important milestone. She doesn't quite have it down yet, but we are working on it!

My water baby!

We took Taylor to the indoor pool today and she had a great time! The Lawrence Aquatic Center is right by our house and it is perfect for kids. I have a feeling we will be spending a ton of time here in the coming years! Taylor was such a big girl at the pool today...she is growing up right before our eyes and motherhood just gets better every single day!

Baby Einstein

Family time on the couch! Even Maverick posed for the pic! I just love Taylor's strawberry pjs!

Taylor loves her Bumbo chair and, as you can see, she is starting to put everything in her mouth. Today, we set it up on the coffee table so she could have a front row seat to her Baby Einstein video...she sat there and watched intently for almost 30 minutes, that's like 8 hours in baby time=)

Medicine and an Exer-Saucer...

Poor Baby Taylor has had a cough for a couple of weeks, so her doctor finally gave her antibiotic to see if that would get rid of it. She didn't quite know what to think of the sticky cherry substance but after 4 hands and many attempts, we finally got it down her. (and her coughing has gotten better) Woohoo!

So now that she has hit the 4 month mark...we offically have all the toys set up! The only thing left is the highchair, and I am sure that is only a few weeks away! Taylor really likes her exer-saucer. She has been playing in it a lot at daycare so we finally got it set up at home...and she is too cute in it! She can already turn herself all the way around (there are kids at daycare that can't even do that yet) "She is so advanced, " Luke says.=) Of course I agree!

4 months!

So, here is the monthly giraffe pic comparision! Notice the bumper is no longer in the crib- she has been scooting around like crazy during the night and waking up with her face too close for comfort to the bumper. So, I took it out!!! One of these days I am determined to get a smile during this picture!

Like father like daughter...

Taylor had her first hotel experience last weekend when we went to my cousin Justin's wedding! You can imagine my surprise when I came out of the bathroom after getting ready...to find my husband and daughter in matching poses while watching TV. Everyone is saying she looks a lot like daddy, but this is just getting ridiculous=)

Dedicated...

Taylor with Grandma Bell!

Taylor had her Dedication Ceremony at church today and we had lots of family over to celebrate! She was adorable in her Baptism dress, NOTE: the same dress that my mom, sister, and I all wore for our baptisms! She was a perfect lady during the ceremony and had tons of fun being passed around all day! God Bless you Taylor, we love you!

Bath time at Grammy Fen's!

Grammy Fen bought a whale bathtub to have at her house for Taylor. She was so dang cute in the tub with her crazy wet hair and big blue eyes! I love you precious baby girl!

Tristan's 1st Birthday

We celebrate cousin Tristan's first birthday 2 weeks ago and FINALLY got a picture of the two cousins together. I can't believe how fast time is flying by! Happy Birthday Tristan!

So late...

1 month
2 month
3 months

I can't believe I haven't posted this yet, considering Taylor is almost 4 months old now but here are the pics for her 3 month giraffe shot. Can you believe how much she has changed in 3 months?

Big Blue Eyes!

Grammy Fen came to visit on Sunday and got some really good pics of Taylor! Her gorgeous blue eyes really shine in these pics! They look just like Daddy's...I really hope they stay blue. My precious baby girl, I love you so much!

Rubber bands...

Who put all those rubber bands on Taylor's arms when I wasn't looking?

More in the Bumbo chair...

"You can do it!"

"What are YOU lookin at?"

Mommy and Taylor love this thing! She just looks too cute sitting up like a big girl!

Identity Crisis...

Hanging at the tailgate!

So, it's that time of year again...FOOTBALL is here and Taylor couldn't be more prepared with a closet filled with KU and MU shirts. Taylor got to cheer the Tigers on to a victory against Illinois with Grandpa and then spent the next weekend tailgating with Daddy at her first KU game. So far, both teams have stayed victorious...so maybe Taylor is their lucky charm. Needless to say, she looked too cute hanging out in her carseat at the tailgate...she sat there looking around for almost an hour! I was about to pass her a cold one she was so relaxed=) Here's to a fun victorious football season!
